Berlin's 'Parrot Settlement' officially added to the UN

Berlin's 'Parrot Settlement', officially the Waldsiedlung Zehlendorf and also known as Onkel Toms Huette (Uncle Tom's Cabin), has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the Berlin Modernism Housing Estates, recognising its Bauhaus-era modernist architecture. EPA/Fadi Yousef
